What I eat on a sugar-free (ketogenic) diet | Jan 2018

For people who don't know what is Ketogenic diet, Ketogenic diet is actually a low carb, moderate protein, and high-fat diet which puts the body into a metabolic state known as ketosis.  When your body enters ketosis, the liver produces ketones and it becomes the main energy source for the body, instead of sugar.

On my ketogenic diet, I follow a strict ketogenic diet, which means I only take 20g NET carbs per day* (Net carb= total carbs - dietary fibre), it basically means I can't have any high carb food such as white rice or bread, as one slice of White Bread has already contained about 13 grams of carbohydrate. I'll cover more about ketogenic diet on my another post, in this January, I monitored my diet and record every single thing I ate ( almost every hahaa) I usually prepare my own meals at home, as I can control what food sources I'm using, and for sure, it's way cheaper then eat out hahaa
